SERVICE BULLETIN UPDATED SAFETY MAPS ADDED. #2020 BMW S1000RR ECU FLASH FULL#Sport mode has been adjusted to offer full power with changed traction control settings for smoother riding. We made what was already good, even better. Faster and smoother shifting for the OEM quick shifter. MODIFIED QUICK SHIFTER TIMES FOR UP/DOWN SHIFTING “KILL” TIMES. The only thing the user has to do is pump the gas in the bike and ride. The adaptive ECU and our Stage 1 flash will account for the new fuel and change automatically to optimize performance. This means if you want to run regular 93 pump gas then switch to MR12, you do not have to change maps. Because of the adaptive ECU and OEM wideband sensors, the S1000RR is able to switch between fuels without flashing to a new map. MR12 HORSEPOWER AND OTHER 100 OCTANE FUELING MAPS INCLUDED. Depending on fuel quality, the bike will choose more aggressive timing tables or less aggressive (if knock is present). Stage 1 optimizes the ignition tables for performance and reliability. The //M+ flash did not touch any of the stock ignition tables. MODIFIED IGNITION FOR PERFORMANCE ON VARIOUS OCTANES. For safety we adjust the OEM wideband sensors to read +/- 35% at all times. MANY hours, days, months have gone into developing the Stage 1 flash to make sure the bike is not only fast, but also reliable, smooth and consistent. That may sound silly given how much of an improvement the //M+ flash gives the 2020 S1000RR but on Stage 1 we decided to focus purely on performance while still taking rideability into account. It does not take peak performance into consideration. ![]() The //M+ flash focuses on smooth and consistent rideability only. MODIFIED FUELING FOR FULL TIME CLOSED LOOP AND WILL TARGET FOR PERFORMANCE (not just rideability in the //M+ flash). We removed the top speed governor and made sure the throttle or torque isn’t limited. The soft limits are where the 2020 S1000RR will start to close the throttle and limit torque by itself at high speed or high RPM. The OEM throttle model has “soft” and “hard” limits. BUILT ON THE FOUNDATION OF OUR ALREADY POPULAR //M+ MAPPING, STAGE 1 GOES A FEW STEPS FURTHER BENEFITS OVER //M+
